So our newest batch of chicks has a bit of an age gap due to a mix up on the breeders end. The polish are just short of seven weeks, the salmon favorelle is around five weeks, and the grey orphington mix is around 4 weeks. Our two black copper marans are pretty obvious so like…not even gonna bother with them. I feel like I have a good idea on what everyone is but would like some second opinions, especially with the SF because I’ve seen some conflicting things on identification. Anyways, obligatory pictures-

The Faverolles is a pullet. I see no Faverolles males in that group.

The Orps are too young to sex.

The first regular Polish is a cockerel. Too soon to tell with the other Polish.

It looks like their crests are being pecked on, unless it's just a trick of the photos. If they are being pecked, a product like hot peck should be used to stop the problem.

Ooh I probably should’ve clarified that there’s only two polish, the regular and the frizzle, one orp mix and one salmon favorelle. That’s on me, I couldn’t get the images to cooperate into separating them by bird.
I’ve noticed that the two polish still have a lot of pin feathers on their crests but I’ll definitely double check and make sure there isn’t damage from the other birds. Thank you for pointing that out!
