We at Red Bug Plantation have over 100 guineas residing on our property. We free range our birds every 2 to 3 days to give them fresh grass and we have also found that we get better fertility doing this--it also give us a chance to gather fresh eggs in the nest within our pen. We have Royal Purple, Coral Blue, Lavender, Brown, Chocolate, Buff, Buff Dundotte, White, Pearl, Ivory, Porcelain and Pieds in most colors all in one large pen. Our birds have given us keets this season in Royal Purple, Lavender, Coral Blue, Brown, Pearl, Buff, and White from several small hatches we have had to determine fertilization so we expect a better mix from our bigger hatches. Fertility is great in our flock as we have one male for every 1 to 2 females. All eggs that we ship will be no older than 5 days and usually less as the girls give us anywhere from 30 to 50+ eggs a day.
Price include shipping. We have been shipping our guinea's hatching eggs for 3 season now with very good results. With that said, we will pack eggs the best we can but we can not guarantee the US Postal Service will treat them kindly so "once they leave our hands we can not be responsible for them". Shipped hatching eggs are a risk, so please understand that before ordering eggs. We will try our best to get them to you in one piece but can not replace eggs mishandled by the Postal System. Each egg will be wrapped in bubble wrap and packed in such a way to assure they do not move in shipping. We have a couple of different way of accomplishing this depending on how many extras we have available to ship with your eggs.
