So this is day 4 in a row that I have found truly JUMBO eggs in my coop. A store bought AA egg is about 60 grams, and I have a hen or two that are laying 70+ gram eggs. I know they could be double yolks, and haven't candled to look yet, but if they are a regular egg is this normal to have hens lay such large eggs? I have australorps and barred rocks. The first day we thought it was a double yolker, but to have this happen several days in a row makes me wonder if this is just the size of egg they lay.
