*I have found a home for them*

Time for our two cockerels to find new homes. They're Breda Fowls, an old Dutch breed that have feathered feet and no combs. They are eight months old and have grown up on organic feed and foraging. They have started showing aggression towards humans, especially our kids. Apparently this is pretty uncommon for their breed, so I'm not sure what happened. They likely are best butchered, but they may do okay in a much larger flock with plenty of hens. $10 for each.

We are located in Hillsboro, OR. Pick up only. I cannot ship or deliver.

They are so handsome! Sadly I am all the way on the other side of the country in Vermont.
If I may ask, how did you get started with Breda fowl? I’ve done a little poking around online and couldn’t find any for sale.

They really are stunning. I found a breeder an hour from us called Blue Acres Homestead who breeds them. I was looking to buy chicks from a local breeder and as soon as I saw pictures of the Breda Fowl, I was sold!

I looked up the breeder- thanks for pointing me in her direction! I have to get some someday…
