I have 4 bourbon red turkeys and up until now I thought I had 3 toms and 1 hen. The 3 had slightly darker feathers and always seemed to have redder/darker heads. They all still have their mohawks which leads me to think all hens now. Should their be prominent differences at this point in their age? Would I even have to guess if their were both sexes? Also if anyone has any pictures of toms and hens at this age for reference that would be nice.

I think it Should be easy to tell at 8 months of age ,,my tom is much bigger than the hens and his snood was very obvious at three months
