As it goes with hatching at home, many of our little ones have ended up as boys. With Spring swiftly marching over the horizon, hormones are taking over and we have to thin the number of roosters in our flock. The boys we're offering up here are actually the sweetest ones in the bunch. They need new homes so the big alphas won't tear them apart and so they can have some fine hens all to themselves. I will not ship, but I'm willing to deliver them personally or arrange a meeting place half-way depending on the distance. All I ask is to see some proof that they'll be going to a good home.
1. SJ (Spike Jr.)

SJ is a bit of a loner, a bachelor if you will. He mostly just rolls around in the dirt with the other boys. Never shown any aggression, a little skittish when approached but he becomes putty in your hands.
2. Shibby

The most lax rooster in the bunch. Can be approached, picked up, even flipped upside down without a fuss. A tad on the small side.
3. Orange-Toes

Orange is a big teddy bear. Absolutely the friendliest chicken. Also a very good hunter. While the rest of the bunch are rolling in the dirt, he's constantly on the prowl for hidden treats. He just needs his own harem of ladies to feed.
4. Samurai

Sam is an interesting mix, but I'd be lying if I said I knew what that mix consisted of. He's got an impressive head of feathers, and sports some nice big cartoonish angry eyebrows. He's getting restless around here, and none of the hens will acknowledge his advances when he salsa dances for them.
