I have 3 bantams they’re about 8 months old now and I have not seen a single egg from them. They are in with standard hens so maybe the big hens are eating the tiny eggs? They don’t eat the normal eggs unless they’re broken on the ground. So do you think something’s eating their eggs or they're just not laying. Oh they’re mille fleur d'uccles if anyone was wondering. Thanks.

None of my bantams are laying - two cochins (one is still mothering a chick), one mf d'uccle and one rosecomb.

Maybe just the time of year? Low light (I do not add additional lighting)?

Still are adorable.

My uneducated guess is that they aren't laying yet simply because they happened to mature about the time it started snowing in your neck of the woods. I really don't know the answer, but like i said, my uneducated guess.
