8 we old chick with backwards leg

I had 2 chicks that had leg issues. I put both into bands so they can be fixed. Surprisely, the smaller of the two made a full recovery, the larger chick however seems to have a side out leg that when you position it correctly the top of the leg cuts in toward her mid section.

Any suggestions

It could be a bone deformity.

It sounds like a twisted tibia, one of several leg bone deformities. There is no treatment, but some chicks learn how to get around well enough to get food and water, and to live a fairly normal life with some assistance. Do you have any pictures? Here is some reading about leg bone deformities:
