8 week old Buff Orpington

I'm a new hen mother. We love it and wonder why we waited so long. Our little Buff is so sweet, calm and docile. She loves the kids, and they love her right back! The more I watch her, I get a little concerned. She sleeps ALOT. While She eats a lot, drinks plenty of water and forages with her BFF ( a 5 mo old Australorp, Bertha, they are inseparable) She is very "squinty" and sleeps standing up in the middle of chicken yard.

I've checked for mites/eye drainage/coughing ect. I haven't noticed anything peculiar Other than sleepiness and squinty.
Any thoughts for a new hen mother?

I'm not sure. Do you have any other pics of her? She might just be at the bottom of the pecking order. Good luck and I hope she's ok. She sounds like a sweetie.

Here's another pic. Bertha seems to protect her, but that being said no one really bothers Marigold either. I was wondering if it was the case at her old home? Who knows. I guess all I can do is keep a watchful eye for now.
