hi there, I posted about a week ago about my chick who hadn’t been walking properly, she’s staring to move around more but she’s walking one foot in front of the other like a model in heels. I’ve been giving her all sorts or vitamins and giving her vitamin b complex directly. Sometimes she’ll even just fall onto her back and lay there which non of my other chickens have ever done that. I’m honestly not sure what else I can do for her. Does anyone have any advice on what could be wrong and what I could do.

How old is she? Have you tried giving her some vitamins that contain vitamin B 2 riboflavin? Are her wings drooping? Does she walk on her hocks are have any curled under toes? Was she vaccinated for Mareks disease? Does her spine appear straight?

she’s about 8 weeks old. Yes she is getting that in her vitamins. She uses her wings to balance herself most of the time others wise they seem to be normally held. She’s only on her hocks totally when she’s standing around I haven’t noticed her being totally one them when she walks but a little bit. She hasn’t been vaccinated non of the chicks I hatched have been and they’ve all been fine. It seems straight but she doesn’t want to stand normally it’s as if she can’t hold her weight any other way but straight up. I did add photos to the post if those are visible

You know what I’ve played closer attention now she’s not walking on her hocks

Hopefully, it is not Mareks, but something else, and time will tell. Make sure that she can get to her food and water, and that she is taking enough. Other chickens may peck or bully her if she is not walking properly, so watch for that, and separate her if needed. A dog crate with food and water inside the coop with the other chickens is ideal. Besides pictures, a video showing her walking can be uploaded to YouTube or Vimeo with link posted here could be helpful.

I have her separated and she’s eating and drinking plenty. I got a video of her walking And I did let her walk around with the other chickens once when I was cleaning her area and she was totally fine with all of them so yeah. I was informed that it’s not Marek’s so idk. She doesn’t seem to have any of the symptoms of it at least I don’t think she does

Curious...Is this new or has she always walked this way? Wondering if it's a physical deformity.
I found her just over a week ago after Christmas she wasn’t moving eating or drinking so now that she is at least moving is huge improvement from the start I just don’t know why she’s like this now

I just really need some advice on what is wrong and what I could do because if I can help her I want to know how. I’m trying everything I can think of but she’s not walking any better she’ll run like that or walk she’s a happy chick but I’m worried
