Any ideas on what could cause a healthy 8 week old chick to have sudden problems?

The chick was healthy Saturday morning then started holding one eye partially shut. Thought at first it might be a grass issue, or maybe a peck from another chick but there is no discernable injury, no redness, no swelling, no discharge. Now the chick is having a foot issue which started getting worse. Right toes are curled back and the chick does not want ot put weight on it. No redness or swelling at this point. Are the two related? Any ideas on what it could be? Anything else to watch for? BTW - this
chick was vaccinated for Mareks within a day of hatch and is also from a NPIP/AI clean flock. All of the other chicks in this group are perfectly fine. I'm perplexed.

Not saying it is but, Marek's vaccine does not protect from getting the disease...it just protects from the formation of tumors that ultimately kills the bird. If it dies, I would take it in for necropsy to know for sure what happened.

Gave up searching the forums and did a little googling. Found out that curled feet can be a sign of Riboflavin deficiency. Still not sure why no one else is having the problem (perhaps it is just an injury) and I'm feeding Purina medicated chick starter which one would assume is a complete feed; but I'm going to be proactive and give everyone sav-a-chick vitamins in the water.

If anyone else had this problem that morphed into something else, feel free to add to the post for the knowledge of all (if the search feature can be improved. I actually find more BYC forum information by searching google than internally - go figure.)

I ended up with 2 of 8 of my Dominiques (vaccinated) with Marek's. None of the others, but that was pretty bad odds.
