Looking for experienced duck owners advice please.
My duckling are 8 weeks old and nicely feathered out. We are about to transition them from our mud room (non insulated so has been a great temperature transition location!) to their predator proof house. We live in the northeast so our weather has JUST warmed up.They currently have access to food and water overnight however I'd prefer to not have food and water in the house with them for the mess factor as well as the draw for predators in our rural area.
Can this be done at 8 weeks with success and/or does there need to be a transitional time period? Thank you!
