These four EE are such skittish, psychopaths. Absolutely crazy compared to our OG flock that is now just over a year old, but also purchased from a local farm rather than a big box farm store. Does that make a difference?

This weekend we heard one of them crowing, but I’m not sure which one it was. They all four do nothing but charge at each other all day, every day. The OG flock will not accept them at all even after having them inside the coop separated by another crate for the past month.

Do we possibly have four cockerels? Their tail feathers seem much larger than our OG pullets were at this age, but are also our only EE.

Thoughts???

The combs for one, and the coloring. If you have a ouctute of bird three without back lighting, I may change my mind in that one
Here anre a few more pics from different angles, but they were 6 weeks old.

Ooo, the third bird is a little suspicious but I'll wait for better pictures
Ok…tried to get better pictures. I’m almost 100% certain that the two black ones are cockerels. The thick legs, red combs/wattles…and someone out there is crowing and I think it’s the black/white one.

Side by side the darker of the two brown ones, who are more than likely the same mixed breed, is possibly a cockerel too. No comb to be seen, but the poof on its head is much larger, wattles are forming, and the legs are much more thick.

Sadly, I think 3 of my 4 are going to be roosters and I will have to find them a new home.
