Hi there, I got a new pullet today. The man told me that she's a light brahama, 8 weeks old. I believe him on the Light Brahama... but not so much on the 8 weeks old, especially since he said she's not a bantam. I think more around 5 weeks. Here is my new baby:

If you need more pics, I have some :3

Its a light brahma, And if its standard it could be around 7-8 weeks. and it could be a boy..its comb is getting red already. But i could be wrong. I dont see wattles coming in. Soo id say it is a pullet right now

I am not really concerned about gender, as the man guarenteed a pullet or he'll take it back. But thank you :D I believe it is a standard... wow.. My 12 week olds are around 3x her size o.o

The guy just told me (has a thick accent) "This is not little bird. It is medium regular. About medium." So... I have no idea. I have small hands though. Also, how do I intruduce her to the rest of the flock? I could only get one.. and she's about 1/3 of the size they are.

when she gets feathers on her face i would slowly introduce her. maybe put her in a cage where the others can walk around her and see her. Or put her with them at night so when they all wake up they dont relize anythings differnt. i do that to mine and always works great

Thankies :3 Her box is next to the coop.. yesterday my mother insisted I try to introduce her and now she has a bump on her foot. I pulled her out before any serious damage occured. Thankfully, the bump is almost back to normal- no bumblefoot. She has no other wounds. I feel sad for her- she's the only chick in her box and she has to sleep alone. The coop can't fit the box in it, so I am trying a mirror tonight. Should that keep her happy enough?

it should. Dont worry if they peak at her at first when u introduce her. Just be sure they dont draw blood.
