I have 9 of them and a d Uccle the same age. They are housed together and such a hoot. When they are in the yard they never stay in their pen, at least they roam together in a flock. And when I go to catch them to put them in, they are all over the place.

They are really pretty and boys and girls are easy to tell apart. I just love them and their little antics. The liveliest birds I have ever had. They just run all over the yard in a little pack, very wild. Last night when I went to feed them, (i had afew extra treats with the regular stuff), they just all flocked to the food and made all these little baby dinosaur noises and started running around chasing each other for snacks. They are just so hilarious!!

They lay really well. Not quite as prolific as white leghorns, but still a lot of eggs. They're shy, but beautiful and active. Definitely fun to have around.

You said it jossanne! That is a lovely pullet. She looks really well feathered in. Mine are just a bit behind her in feathering, but they are really starting to look nice. They are now at the age where I can definetely tell boys from girls. I have 5 boys and 4 girls.

Thats a lot of boys.

I put a treat in with them again today, and there is one d'Uccle male the same age with them. Well they did that same thing again. They all started running around and grabbing pieces of food and making all these starving chirping noises. It was crazy. It was kinda like a dull roar of baby birds.

And the mille d'Uccle kinda stood there, like, what the heck is going on here? I gave a little treat to the silkies the same age and they just grabbed the treats and ate them. But those leghorns sure do make a big to do about it!!!
