All birds are from Cackle Hatchery and are straight run (yes I know hatchery are not the best for breeding but since it's the first project I'm trying it is what it is). Photos are attached as inserting was going to take forever and a day. I got a profile, face, side, and top photo of each chickie.

Blue Ameraucanas (8 weeks unless says otherwise)

#1 Prince (suspected male on arrival and still)

#2 Princess (suspect female)

#3 Twilight (suspect male)

#4 Cricket (slow feathering compared to the rest, need to think on the genetic implications here if kept for breeding program)

#5 Emperor (suspected male on arrival, thinking female now)

#6 Empress (suspect male from attitude)

#7 Cucumber (7 weeks)

#8 Squeak (7 weeks)

Splash Ameraucanas (8 weeks)

#1 Richard (suspected male at arrival, unsure now, whatever it is... it's the LOUDEST BIRD OMG)

#2 Justice (suspected male at arrival, think female now)

#3 Flutter (suspect female)

#4 Flitter (suspect female)

Easter Egger (8 weeks)
Was supposed to be pullet but after hearing/seeing our other EE crowing I'm suspicious of this one with the comb and coloring.

Ok Frosty had to be split into the first comment, apparently I'm limited to 50 photos on a post XD

I am by no means an expert in sexing chicks but, I wanted to point out that Frosty is looking very much like a rooster. They have a large comb and they look big. They are very pretty. Now, when I got Ameraucana chicks last year (in my pfp) there were multiple chicks that I suspected were roosters and they all turned out to be hens. I somehow got a chick that isn't an Ameraucana (she's a different breed, I don't know which breed though). She doesn't have muffs nor does she have Ameraucana coloring. This led me to believe she was a rooster because she grew so much fast than the other chicks. There is another Ameraucana hen from the same batch that has long saddle feathers and tail feathers. I thought she was a rooster too. That was just my thoughts on sexing chicks before they grow up. I thought I had 2 roosters and it turned out that they were all hens. Goodluck!

#7 Cucumber (7 weeks) girl

#8 Squeak (7 weeks) girl

My guesses are in Bold above :)

Thanks! I'm going to be sad if our Splashes turn out to be 3/4 male!! Why did you think male vs female on Empress and Emperor? I'm curious what you see!
Oops, I got them backwards :-D Sorry about that!

Just for comparison-everyone including me thought these two were girls…this was at 12 weeks too.
