80% Humidity

For only 5 minutes? The humidity in my Brinsea mini Eco has shot up to the mid 70s for longer than that while I was regulating the humidity without any difficulties.

I went into a panic until it dawned on me that momma hen doesn't have a hygrometer strapped to her belly so the humidity under the hen is bound to fluctuate during incubation. Naturally during lockdown and pipping you want to keep that humidity higher.

Good luck with your hatch. What are you incubating?

Good Luck!
I have a Buff O/Welsummer cross hen sitting on 7 eggs at day 20 who just HAD to get out of her pen when she saw me walk into the coop with watermelon for them. Thank goodness no pips yet so I guess she knows what she's doing.

Frankly, I would much rather hatch with an incubator. My hens are going to drive me to drink, LOL!
