Hi All

My father got this Brower Incubator from Sears back in the mid 70's. I have replaced the top & bottom Insulation Panels, Heat Element, Thermostat, Microswitch, Wafer, Pilot Light and Power Cord. Growing up as a kid I seen many of chicks hatched out of this incubator each spring. So this Friday I am going to put around 50 eggs in and see how I do with this restored incubator.

If all goes well with this hatch I plan to use this incubator to hatch many La Fleche chicks in the future. This time it will be my kids watching me hatch chicks out of this incubator as I watched my father when I was their age.

I have one exactly the same and also one that holds 50 eggs. They are great incubators in my opinion!
Thats wonderful the incubator was passed on to you.

Wow that is something, My next door neighbor (he is 88) was telling me he remembers an incubator his dad had when he was a kid. It burned oil for the heat source. He can't remember how it worked, he just remembered it. That would be something, an oil burning incubator. wonder how it regulated the temps?
