It was a good day! 9/11 eggs, and I’m going to discount Bertha because she lays whenever she feels like it. Sometimes 2 eggs a week...... sometimes 3 eggs a month. She’s reliably broody, and has a kickass personality. From her 2” Spurs, I’d say she deserves a good retirement home.
So.... 9/10 eggs. 8 in the box..... one still in the coop, halfway closer to boxes than last time....... and one soft shell that looks like it was a roost egg from last night.
Not to shabby from 10 twenty five week old pullets and a possible senior citizen. Guess they liked the crab.
