9 Productive Egg Layers looking to be re-homed. I purchased these hens as a random assortment so unfortunately I can't be 100% sure on the type but my best guess is that they are 1 Barred Rock, 1 Easter Egger, 2 Black Australorpe , 2 Jersey Giant, 1 Egyptian Fayoumi, 1 Buff Chantecler, and 1 Ancona. They are just under 2 years old. They all get along well together. They are only needing to be re-homed because I am moving across the country into a much colder climate.

Are the hens still available? A dog killed 11 of our flock and we absolutely need laying hens as we have CSA boxes to fill each week and customers are expecting eggs. We treat our hens very well, How far are you from the Bristol TN/VA area?

Hi Magyar_Farm,
Pls put us on the waitlist behind laurelbrookfarms, if it doesn't work out. We are in East Atlanta on a small urban farm. We have ~20 layers with increased demand for eggs due to the Pandemic.
We would love to add your laying hens to our flock. Thanks.

Please please reply. Let us know if our hopes are dashed. We've been looking for laying hens for three weeks that can be picked up anywhere near close to us. Hope you enjoy your new cold location. I used to live in Buffalo and I thought the snow was the best thing about it. We had winter and the 4th of July.

The OP hasn't been seen since Monday. I wouldn't get your hopes up. Maybe you could try Craigslist?

Hi there, I am in Grant Park and need to thin my flock some. I just can't keep up with production! Young healthy ladies. Would you be up for a small roo too?
