I was so wanting to peek under my two hens this morning after hearing some cheeping late last night. But had to run off to my daughters first ballet recital this morning first thing. Got home and found that both hens had hatched all their eggs. 2 BB Millefleur D'uccles, 1 silkie,6 bantam cochins and everyone looks really well and so tiny!!! My other chicks are 4 weeks old today so they look like giants in comparison!! So much easier having them under momma hen (except that it is a challenge to get hold of the chicks for handling since momma doesn't like the look of these great hands that keep heading for her little ones! So much fun!
