These are all supposed to be pullets. I'm not sure of the age, so any help with that would be great. I was also told that this was a mix of Buff Orpingtons, Barred Rocks and Americaunas. Now, are these "true" Americaunas or are they Easter Eggers? Also, what colors do you think these little Americaunas (?) will be? And is the size normal? I got some Red Star Sex Links and they were much bigger than these are without their wing feathers coming in.

Thanks ahead of time!

Americaunas (?) What colors are these and are they true or are they just EE's?

Easter Egger #3 and 4 are pullets.

All the other chicks are way too young to sex, except the Barred Rock is a pullet as well.

Yes, those are Easter Eggers, not true Ameraucanas. Ameraucanas are only found from reputable breeders, not feedstores or hatcheries. (some "breeders" sell Easter Eggers under false claim, too)

I'm glad you posted these pics! We were sold an Ameraucana chick but I suspected she is an EE. From your pics it looks like my guess is right.

What lovely little chicks you have!

Thank you! They are sweethearts and I actually have one cuddled up on my neck right now. I paid $3 a chick because they were advertised as Americaunas but I had my doubts. I'm not too worried about them not being pure as I'm not into showing. I was just looking to add some color to my flock since I mostly have Red Sex Links.
