9+week BCM gender help! One roo+one maybe?

Agree with @Overo Mare that big combs & wattles at that age mean "boy," even if one of them isn't sporting fancy plumage yet.

We're currently raising selectively bred Marans from a breeder as well. They're 10 weeks. 2/5 are cockerels, and you can really see the difference. Here are photos as they started to settle into post-breakfast naps this a.m. The pullets look like the girls in the background of your photos: small combs, not much wattle.

I appreciate all the input! This is such a fun journey, regardless. I think I’m also hoping the second one is a pullet because my flock is only big enough to sustain two roosters, so I don’t want to have to choose who to include in the butcher this year(I also have a colorpack Roo this year who I really like)

I have 2 BCM that are about 3 weeks that I bought from the IFA in Utah. Suppose to be pullers but one already has a comb the other has also started a comb. What do u all think Pullets or Roo’s.

That second one is suspicious. However, BCMs comb up early and 3 weeks is too young to accurately sex. Post updated pics at 6 weeks.

Thx for sharing the progression pics. It’s helping me try to figure out what my two BCMs are.
