My guinea keets are now 9 weeks old. I've been feeding them 28-30% game starter/grower. What now? Do I keep feeding them this? If so, how long? If not, what do I transition them to? Thank you!

You can keep feeding it if you need to use it up or you can switch to a turkey or game bird grower (usually around 24% protein) for the next 3 or 4 weeks. Once they are at least 12 weeks old, they can have an adult feed such as all flock or flock grower. My guinea keets are now 9 weeks old. I've been feeding them 28-30% game starter/grower. What now? Great! Thank you! I'm completely new to to guinea fowl, and I'm so glad there's a forum to ask all my questions! You can keep feeding it if you need to use it up or you can switch to a turkey or game bird grower (usually around 24% protein) for the next 3 or 4 weeks. Somewhere around this point I switch to chick starter/grower 17% protein. If that’s all the birds are eating, I add brewers yeast, but if birds are free ranging, I figure they are getting supplemental nutrition there. My guinea keets are now 9 weeks old.
