My first chicks arrived about an hour ago,,10 of them. 9 are doing great, wild little girls, eating/drinking,,I have one, that was out of it when I opened the box, a columbian wyandotte.
Eyes closed, a little gaspy,,tried to get some save a chick in her, no go,,called hatchery, they suggested sugar water,,DID get some of that in her, but she's really un perky, hasn't walked yet, eyes are still closed and still a little 'gaspy' once in awhile, I've got her under the heat, and I know things happen, but wondering if anyone has any ideas or suggestions?
