911!!!! IS IT TOO LATE?

i got a new hen today and i wasnt thinking and i put her straight in with my fave roo and i didnt think about keeping them separate for 30 days if the hen has something would my roo have caught it already? theyve only been together for about 4hrs? IS IT TOO LATE??? i dont think that the people i got it from would have sold me a sick hen and the hen appears to be fine!!!

Well, if she has something awful she would have had time to pass it on. On the other hand, if she seems fine and the flock she came from appears to be in good health, I think I would just forget about it.

I would separate her anyway, do you have a spot for her? I don't think it's too late, since you're thinking about it , I would do it. Than check on the the other bird periodically to make sure he/she doesn't look like it picked up on anything. Then perhaps go from there. Good luck.

yes her whole flock look wonderful and and i didnt see not one chicken that looked sickly

she is most likely fine... but if it makes you feel better, separate her until you are sure.

i think i will separate them in the morning, cant now its dark... GAH I AM SO STUPID!!! i will die if something happens to paparazzi that i could of avoided

Well, though exposed doesn't necessarily mean infected, I'd still separate her. A seemingly healthy bird can still be a carrier.
