920 Chicken deaths!

I found it interesting that the local news story mentioned that the local police found by posting on Facebook, twitter, etc….that they got more outrage over the chickens and more tips to help than they usually receive when it is homicide of human.

That is absolutely SICKENING! I'd like to have 5 minutes with those scumbags and a golf club. I may be 70 years old but I can still do a lot of damage....just awful!

I totally agree. Wish the chickens had been armed and dangerous !

I suspect that, had there been a similar number of people killed, the level of response might be similar. One animal killed like this is disgusting, but the sheer brutality of beating almost a thousand birds to death is horrifying.

I couldn't imagine a "psycho" coming up with the energy to kill 920 birds in a single night. It would be exhausting!

Oh, I mean psycho in training. That's my take on the new law moving animal cruelty to felony status, the concern that animal cruelty at young ages points to mass murderers or psychos as adults. And by intervening during punishment could alter their actions later in life??

Really!! Anyone at any age who does something like this is hopeless & sadistic and could not be rehabilitated to become a normal person.

This was do sad. I read this and immediately thought who would do such a terrible thing and what do they get out of it. Also if they can go do this to chickens who knows what they can do to humans. Simply just terrible.

Agree. Rehabilitation will never work for people like that.

I briefly looked up the Foster Farm website…didn't see it was a Tyson owned facility.

I read Tyson on one of the posts here that was later edited. I was just going off that when I said Tyson. My comment would have been the same no matter who ran the farm.

Unless they are lying, The Foster Farm site tells that the chickens are kept with ventilation and humane conditions…but who knows what that means…really doesn't matter, they did not deserve brutal end to life.
