I sat 25 eggs on October 10th and as of tonight we have successfully hatched out 24 of those eggs. Sad, one could not hold its head up or put weight on its legs so DH did the right thing and humanely culled it.
One egg is still in the bator, but, I am not expecting it to hatch, and will dispose of it at noon tomorrow if no signs of life.
So we now have 23 new additions to our Plymouth white rocks (7) and buff orpingtons (16).
