Ok,I might be getting baby Turkey's this weekend, but,it's a weekend.I will be there for two days.

They will be in my grandparents care from there until the weekend, and next.I will also be down there for any breaks.

I will be hand feeding them for the first two days, and getting some pets hopefully.I will be spending half of my time with them, and the rest with the hens.

Question:Will theu remember me once I return?Also,what is adult Turkey's memory like,andpoults.mmemory?

Poults imprint on whoever, whatever they see first. However, two days? They'll peep for the first few days after you're out of their sight, then they'll start habituating to your grandparents. Adult turkeys can remember quite a number of individuals that "belong" in the flock (flock can include humans, several cats, chooks that belong, etc) Strange cats, humans, etc.? Loud alerts and gobbles. Any objects left out of place in yard, e.g., buckets, chairs, etc. will get investigated. They dang well know what goes where and why. They remember. They can be trained to return to their run/shed at sundown (single file from down by pond, right up rise, across the yard and into the run they go (have had a harder time training some dogs).
