Well it's done! Haha, well 97.5% done. But here are the pictures to prove it!!
Way better than the original one. And it matches our house, as you can see below.
Here's where the 1.5% comes in - the unpainted part of the wood below will be cut out
for more ventilation.
The only thing that is bothering me now is all the trees that are behind it. They block the sun when it rises so they don't get much sun until the afternoon. And on these cold mornings I wish the sunlight could warm up their coop a little. But then I don't have a built-in down coat! My husband reassured me that they were fine and cozy this morning when he let them out. And I believe him.
