Alright, I've got an 11 mo old splash BLRW pullet who looks to be broody. She's such a shy little sweetie....even let's me reach under her to check/take eggs and just screeches a little, not the first peck. OK, so I spoil my livestock chickens to the point where she wouldn't think to peck at 'food lady' (me). She's now sitting for the 2nd day.
Given the situation, I have 2 choices...which do you think is best?

1) I have eggs in the bator now on day 11. I could give her chicks in 10 days if she continues to set. Do you think she'd accept them after setting only 13 days? This is her first broody attempt, so maybe that would make it easier for her to believe???

2) I could give her fertile eggs and let her set it out the 21 days. The issue with that would be moving her when the chicks hatch. She's in a breeding coop with 7 other hens and a roo. There are only 2 nest boxes - I can take any new eggs added while she broods. But I'm concerned about moving her and chicks later, or moving her close to the hatch date, etc, etc....
