Last spring, my hen Coffee hatched four chicks, Flower, Donny, RoHo, and Peepster. Peepster was a runt, but very cute. He was all yellow. I noticed that Coffee stepped on him a lot accidentally. The day after he hatched, we found him laying in his little cage. We thought he would die. He livened up though. We put him in a storage box with a T-shirt as bedding and two lids, one with water and one with food. He got upset and I had to cup my hands around him so he would be happy. Turns out, the reason he was laying in his cage is that he was having seizures. He kept having them, livening up, a and having another one. We brought him in the house, gave him a warm sock with rice in it and a warm washcloth blanket to keep him warm. Sadly, he died that night.
