My hubby brought me my BCM roo today and told me to check out his skin and feet. First off his skin is red and irritated, especially on his neck and by his breast bone. We treated him for mites last month (twice) and there doesn't seem to be any on him anymore. What else could cause this? He is the only one with red skin.
Also the pads on the bottom of his feet are rock hard and lumpy but there is NO evidence of of a scab anywhere. Could this be bumblefoot?
I can try and get pictures tomorrow but this particular roo currently has it out for me and can be hard to control. (He stalks me around the yard until he thinks my back is turned then charges me)
I'm usually good if I catch him as he comes out of the coop and then take him to neutral territory.
I hope it's just some kind of callus and not bumblefoot...
