The Rules
This swap is not endorsed by BYC (owner, website, staff, etc.). The BYC Staff is not responsible and will not mediate if something goes "wrong" or a deal goes "bad". If you choose to participate in a swap, it is best to know who you are swapping with and not to swap more than you can afford to lose.
The BYC Staff is sensitive because some past swaps have not worked out. We want our members to feel comfortable having fun with these and other social interactions, but please keep in mind that there were issues with some organizers and swappers not following through on their commitments in the past.
Rules:
1. Swaps will be for handmade items or craft materials/supplies only. Eggs are on another thread. Side swaps of egg for craft items can be accomplished through PMs.
2. An initial offering of a handmade item/supplies will be made. Any member can accept and replace the offer with a handmade item of their own. You are responsible for the cost of shipping your own item.
3. All items need to fall in the $10-20 value range so that all things stay equal (And I think that the price should include the cost of your time, not just the cost of materials).
3. Please post pictures of your hand crafted item so people know what they are trading on.
4. Please make arrangements to ship your item within a week or two of the swap, unless different arrangements are made with your swap partner. Shipping must be done via USPS Priority Mail, or if you prefer a similar service with another carrier.
9. Anyone not upholding their end of the swap agreement, either by sending the item, or by sending shipping cost if they couldnt fulfill their swap for whatever reason, will not be allowed to participate further.
10. You can post feedback to the thread when you have received your item. Please only post good feedback. If you are having problems with your swap, please PM me, and we will try and resolve it.
