Yes there is one that is absolutely beautiful and all the others are missing there back ends. No Roos and I have a large shed converted into a coup and We have a nice size laying boxes for the chickens. I will try to send pics and bring it up in the forum later. If you have any thoughts till then, let me know. Thanks

Well - keep an eye on the one that has the good feathers - is she at the top of the pecking order? Could she be pulling out the feathers of the other hens? You might look to see if you can find their feathers around their run or coop - if they are free range it will be tougher to track this down... but my bet at this time is on the one with good feathers making her point of view clear by pulling at those feathers of the others...

Another thought is the perches on your coop - where she is with respect to the others ... if she is pulling them at night... holding on to them to keep her balance.. something..

good luck tracking down the clues to your mystery! Shouldn't be losing feathers just from laying, I don't think..
