A duck question

I know many of you have diffrent types of birds along with your chickens. This year i had added five ducks to my flock. The question i have is how to tell the difference between a chicken and a duck egg. The ones i think are duck eggs dont appear much larger. They do have a different finish to the eggs. kinda waxy it seems.

You got it right. Waxy appearance to duck eggs, and chicken eggs are not waxy. Also ducks normally lay on the ground and chickens will lay in nesting boxes.

See thats where i had the mix up they will lay in the bottom of the coop in far back! ty sooo much! Now im way excited cuz i got mummie ducks!
