Things have been odd around my coop, I have seemed to aquire a second Naked Neck, when I know I only have one. There is a fraud in the coop.
I'm just joking, though there is a rather bald bird in my coop. My Welsummer, Eve, has lost a lot the feathers on her neck and head in less than 2 weeks. Everytime I see her, I giggle. I have had molters pretty bad, but they had never lost their feathers this quick in my experience. If Eve keeps it up at this rate, she will look like my Naked Neck for sure. There could be two reasons for this:
1- She has noticed how I give the Naked Neck a *bit* more treats and is trying to disguise as the Naked Neck
2- She feels bad for my Naked Neck, and wants to help her fit in
Now, I don't know about you, but I'm leaning towards #1. I managed to take some pictures with my phone, so I'm sorry for the quality.
Here is the culprit (you can see my NN on the right):

And here is Opal, the Naked Neck

See the resemblance?!
In all seriousness, I would love to see pictures of your bad molts, mainly because they cheer me up.
