What is sad about butchering chickens ?? They were put on this earth for meat and eggs !!!
Good price on them chickens. I wish I could get deals like that Heck I would not even raise them if I could buy them at your prices !! I would just buy and butcher and sell.

People can do what they want with their birds and I'm not gonna harrass them for it, but I would never be able to do that let alone eat the bird I would keep thinking of the bird. Though I don't believe they are just for eggs and meat I believe they are good entertainment and friends too.
thats funny you grope your birds to see who is ready
We tried asking them if they were ready to go to the chopping block but they wouldn't tell us.
I'm sorry but EVERY post on here should be labeled "GRAPHIC--MEAT BIRDS", I guess, so we don't constantly get posts from people who can't deal with the fact of killing chickens for food(although I bet most of them have eaten chicken in their lives, lol). If no one can post pictures on the MEAT BIRDS board without constantly getting hassled about it, what is the point? I, for one, was pleased to see them though I really would have liked to see them dressed. Please post another picture after you cook some, I would LOVE to see how they turned out. Thanks!
I agree with the killing of the meat animals also. We live on a farm. The animals we raise are for the nourishment that is required for survival. We also hunt wild game, dress, and freeze the meat for our nourishment year round. we raise two pigs a year and slaughter them as well. I dont like to see these people pay others to heard animals by them so they can just say hey i killed a bear or deer or whatever, but if you are like us and eat everything we kill then i see nothing wrong with it. We have raised our kids with the understanding that if you kill it you will eat it period. Chicken doesn't go from the egg to saran wrap on it's own.......... Somebody has to do the deed!!!
We have 4 kids, girl 16, boy 15, boy 13, girl 10, all of which hunt, fish, raise their own flocks of birds, chicken, quail, and they all assist in the cleaning of the animals that we "HARVEST" We have even seen the kids eat sandwitches while they were taking a break during the cleaning process and standing close by so they dont miss anything!!!!!!!!!!! Here on our farm it's part of survival and a way of life. Now also we feel that everything deserves a fair chance at survival, i moved a brush pile with the tractor then the next mornin i found a nest of baby rabbits that just got their eyes open. So we took them in bought cat milk from the grocery store and "we all" did our part and bottle fed the baby rabbits until we got them eating solid foods then we turned them out to do what they were supposed to do. They have a fair chance at survival.... Lord help them stay away from the rabbit boxes and the brush piles for we set rabbit boxes and we also create brush piles for habitat for the rabbits to hide in The kids have learned to jump on them and run the rabbits out and shoot them !!!!! YIKES!!! Wev'e only seen my 13 yr old miss once in the last 3 yrs............. then he racked in another shell and it was all over!!!!! someone once asked our 16 yr old daughter why she pumped her 20ga. shotgun so fast after she shoots, she replied; if i miss, i usually never get another shot............ But i try my best to !!!!!!!!
GOD BLESS AMERICA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
CAUSE WE GONNA NEED IT!!!!!!!!
