Hey guys, im after a resnably priced good incubator to care for my chicken and duck eggs, i would like one that rotated eggs for me, any one got any ideas?

This would be my first incubator so the simplest but a good reliable one would be great.

My fist incubator was a picture window hova bator, with the bilt in fan. (forced air) I also puchased the auto turner. I love that bator...

The Genesis...it's nearly plug and play. The temp is preset so all you have to do is monitor the humidity levels. You can get it with the turner as well. It's a little more expensive than the other small incubators but the ease of use if your just starting out makes it worth the extra $$

Lot of good one's out there I guess it all depends on:

How much you want to spend?
How many eggs you plan on hatching?

I myself am looking for a new one but I am very small scale so I am looking at some Brinsea's. I started out with a hova bator and added the fan and egg turner. It worked well but was very temperamental and sometimes hard to get a constant temp. But my main reason for the switch is just that the Styrofoam hova wears out after a few years...styrofoam was not made to house hardware for extended periods of time. Good luck with your search.

I wanted it to hold about 10 duck eggs and be no more than £100

i dont think i would have any probelms finding any at that price... i hope

Brinsea Octagon Eco is awesome. I have the 20, but they also make a 10 capacity. Mine, with turner, on sale, with shipping, was $180. I would think the smaller one would be cheaper. It's pretty foolproof. I've just finished my second hatch, with excellent results. I love it!
