A huge hawk is terrorizing my chickens!!!

I have also read up on (although not the actual legislation) the other federal laws that protect raptors. The penalty portion of the Migratory Birds Treaty Act is halfway to being amended (has passed the house

Please get back to me when it is actually legislation.

Please supply where I "more or less agreed with him"? How does one even more or less agree with another person? What in the world does any of this have to do with the OP?

i DID misread that passage re: whether hawks are protected under the migratory bird act--in post #34, that was not you, but the other poster, bigdaddyabc. misattribution on my part; my mistake, and i apologize. i stand by everything else i said however--it is difficult to see
inaccurate statements made here that very well could lead others to believe that actions against hawks or other raptors is not a crime, not covered by the act, or that the laws are not enforced.

i do believe your comments (minus the italicized bit, which you did not say) have done those things. might be just my opinion but it is my honest opinion and i am certainly not trying to lie to somehow demean you or get a thread shut down. nor am i hyperventilating.

So here you are trying to bust the OP's and my chops over law that is still not a law.

WalkingWolf, in all candor, why can't you just let this go? This is going nowhere, and is surely of no use to the OP. No, this is not an attempt to bust your chops. I'm too old for that childish crap.

I just saw this….how can someone give permission to murder a hawk or ask for it is beyond me. The person with Chihuahuas should never have Chihuahuas if he can protect them like walk the dog instead just let them sit in the yard alone, or Cover their yards with a hawk netting. What a loser.
