A jenny for a bird guardian?

Has anyone used a donkey as a bird guardian like they do with sheep and goats?

we used to have a donkey in with our goats and it tried to kill the babies and smaller ones if they ever came close to its feet so i think it would do the same to chickens or any other small animal

Guineas are very good at alarming you to predators. But, they roost at night. I think having a donkey would be sooo cool regardless.
