I am wondering if there are any larger feeds that will feed my large flock rather than having multiple feeders? I am putting PVC feeders inside the actual coop but wanted to see if maybe a 55gallon feeder of some sort has been done along with a watering system? I have a hose access but can't leave it on 24/7 it is more just for filling up.

I have a 55 gallon water barrel for my pigs and they use a nipplier so that is why I wondered about my flock.

What do you use and how many chickens do you have? I have about 80.

There are larger feeders out there Someone on here built a PCV feeder with a five gal. bucket as a tank. So you could use a 55 gal. drum. Or you could use a magazine feeder like I built.

Its four feet long. I had to limit the height because of the window. Still it holds over 50 lbs. of feed. They are easily scaled up.
