So started out the day taking care of the alpacas..and in the shed in their feed buckets were big RAT poops... I almost pooped... and yup sure enough a big old hole where they dug under. So I went and got a big metal garbage can and bungie cords to hold the lid on and it is big enough that their buckets will fit in on top of their pellets.... If the food is gone will the rats leave??? What kind of poison would I put in the hole they wouldn't harm my alpacas? I don't think they could get to it.. but I CANT take a chance!!
Then I was looking at two of my dogs today and they were itching up a storm which they never do... looked at them closely and sure enough fleas... so back to town to get flea goo for their backs and bought the powder for the carpet... (more on this in a minute)..
Went to go take a shower for my CPR class and there were ants ALL over the bathroom.. have no idea what they were after.. but spent another half hour cleaning all those bazillion dead stinky bodies up...
Just got home from CPR.. totally exhausted and my DD has decided to be helpful.. so put the clothes from my hamper onto the floor and covered them with the carpet flea powder.. instead of the carpet...
Our washer is broken so I will have to go to the laundramat tomorrow and wash and wash and wash them.. and even then.. not sure my sensitive skin wont react to all those toxin.... 75% of my clothes were in there.. I am literally crying right now.. just crying..
