Are all these birds the same age? I am wondering if they have been full sized birds just recently? What was more than enough space for chicks, rapidly becomes not enough space for full size birds. Birds being raised together, or birds that have gotten along well before now, have little effect of the current time period.
Crowding issues often show up in late winter as the day is so short. Mine are roosting up tonight by 4:15 pm and won't come off until nearly 7:30 am.
As a solution - I think I would try pin-less peepers or just keep him separated until you do get adequate space provided for them. Another issue, might help - but do you see how your birds cannot get out of sight of any other bird? Some mini walls, where a bird can step behind and disappear, or some roosts might really help.
