I planted my pepper and tomato plants this evening in our raised beds. The girls' tractor is over by the raised beds right now. They free range while I'm home and like to follow me around while I'm outside. They don't get in the beds to scratch, but like to rest underneath the broccoli and eat all the weeds that grow up around the sides of the bed boxes and help us from having to pull out the weed eater. Tonight they hung out next to me while I planted, their heads peeking over the boxes to watch me. A moment of backyard farming at its best!
