I got her at Farm and Fleet in a mixed bantam brooder box along with another chick, (that we now know is a Black Dutch pullet) we named her popcorn, and raised her along with 3 others (Princess, a BD, and 2 RIRBs, Pink, and Peanut.)we still have no idea what she could be i was planning on showing her at the county fair in august, so i kinda need to know what breed she is.

I don't know much about bantams, but with her sleek silhouette. . . could she be a modern game bantam? She's a nice little bird.

Deffinatly something along the lines of a game breed, she reminds me of pics I've seen of st. Cubalaya hens and I know there are cubalaya bantams too this is a possibility, but I wouldn't think that you would get a cubalaya at a farm store they are a little harder to come by.

If her tail is always held below horizontal, then she'd be an off color, not quite there in type, wheaten cubalaya bantam. The wheaten in cubalaya females is more of a cinnamon wheaten (think dark red), rather than the straw color wheaten found in Old English.

There are two hatcheries, that I know of, who offer bantam cubalaya. One is Purely Poultry (no pics available on their website), the other is Cackle Hatchery (a few pics on their website, mainly of the males).
