But this thing is not the reason that I am writhing here, I discovered that Fenugreek have a very nice side effect. the people that use fenugreek on a daily basis now that this spice have effect on a persons BO. And that odor repel mosquitos( Garlic have the same effect!) I have a friend that have some horses, and in the summer he had to deal with a lot of fly biting problems.(maggots, open wounds infection etc.) he decided to add Fenugreek to the horses diet. Since than the fly problems reduced to zero problems! This is a win win situation! The horses benefits from the nutritional properties of the Fenugreek from one side, and don't suffer flays problems from the other side.
I think that this affect can be the same in chickens! So if you are suffering from fly and mosquito problems in your floc, this could be a good solution!

Thanks for the useful info.. I have never heard of Fenugeek but am well aware of garlic benefits. Will research it further to inform self of use.
What really impresses me is what is written in your signature. I also live with that attitude.

We use fenugreek in Ethiopian cooking, especially in a raw beef dish called Gored Gored.
