A New Direction

Over the past several years I have collected quite a collection of self-sufficiency books, and love the idea of it all. After buying Mels Square Foot Gardening book last fall we were convinced to give it all a go. So we saved up our money over Christmas and are in the process of building a veggie garden and adjoining chicken coop and looking forward to getting our chicks in the next few weeks. I have been stalking the BYC forums for a while now and just thought I'd pop up my head and say hi!
