Hi guys, I started poultry farming during the SA national lockdown due to Covid-19. I started with broiler chicks and I found it fascinating and I now have potch koekoek (plymouth), black austrolop, Orpington (buff, splash, black, blue and lavender), Lohman Brown and now Rhode Island Reds.

Hi I kinda started my flock for the same reason. Except my first meat birds were turkeys. Absolutely loved them and can't wait for next year's turkey flock. Sounds like you have a colorful mixed flock. Be sure to post pictures. We love to see pics
