hey howdy my name's dan !! nice to meet yall
im new here so i guess i should introduce myself with those sample questions! however im actually raising quails so i'll change all of the chicken questions to quails
(1) Are you new to quails / when did you first get quails?
i am VERY NEW to quails, i ordered my first eggs very recently and they hatched on the day of the eclipse (8/21/2017) !!
(2) How many quails do you have right now?
i have 7 chicks atm but i think i have a few more hatching in the incubator!
(3) What breeds do you have?
i have button/chinese painted quails!
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
i've been browsing the site for a long time because ive been wanting to raise chickens since earlier this year, but because of my housing arrangement i can only have button quails in my room u-u
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
i'm a cartoonist! i draw character designs, fan art (mostly dragon ball and danny phantom related), and webcomic stuff
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
i live with my family in middle tennessee and we're hoping to move to a less subdivisiony area so i can have some actualy chickens along with my button quails! my favorite color of button quail is a silver and my favorite breed of chicken is a buff orpington. i live at home doing freelance art commissions online and i love cartoons a whole lot. im also 20 years old!

You'll definately want to check out the quail thread and Tennessee and Middle Tennessee threads. If you like I can introduce you to the latter two. Since you're in middle TN you're a neighbor, so welcome neighbor.
